Warranty Policy

Reboot Systems India Private Limited guarantees that your product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for warranty period following the date of purchase from Reboot (“the Warranty Period”). Should the Product fail to conform to this warranty during the Warranty Period, we or our authorized agent will replace the Product with the same or a comparable product. If a product is no longer available, its replacement will meet or exceed the specifications of the original and may contain new, used, reconditioned or re-manufactured parts. If we replace a defective Product under this Limited Warranty, the replacement is warranted through the end of the original Warranty Period. This Limited Warranty is made to you, the original purchaser of the Product, and is not transferable.

The Warranty Applicable on the product is Back to Bench Repair / Replacement Warranty. Back to Bench warranty means that the product must be delivered to us freight prepaid before the end of warranty period, based on the purchase date on our invoice, for warranty evaluation. We will not accept COD or collect shipments.

If you return an item to us which is not defective or not eligible under this Limited Warranty, Reboot may in its sole discretion ship the item back to you at your expense, or refund your purchase price less a 25% restocking charge.


Limited Product Warranty Exclusions

This Limited Warranty covers normal use and excludes: the operating system (if any); trial or preloaded software (if any); software you have loaded after receiving your purchase; batteries, toner cartridges or other operating supplies; Products with missing or altered service tags or serial numbers; Products for which Reboot has not received payment; damage or loss resulting from a cause other than defects in materials or workmanship, including without limitation damage or loss caused by neglect, accident, abuse, peripheral equipment, or servicing or modifications by anyone other than Reboot or its authorized agent; transit or shipping charges; damage or loss resulting from any natural disaster, including flood, fire, earthquake, lightning, or electrical surges or use of improper power sources; preventative maintenance; cosmetic scratches, dents or other cosmetic imperfections.

Our liability under this Limited Warranty shall be limited solely to replacement as provided above, and we assume no risk of, and shall not in any case be liable for, any special, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, whether arising from breach of warranty or contract, negligence or any other legal theory, including, without limitation, loss of goodwill, profits or revenue, loss of use of the Product or any associated equipment, cost of capital, cost of any substitute equipment, facilities or services, downtime costs, or claims of any party dealing with the Purchaser. Items attached to or added to the Product after purchase will not be returned to you or reinstalled on the replacement Product.

Our employees and agents are not authorized to make modifications to this Limited Warranty, or additional warranties. Accordingly, additional statements, whether oral or written, do not constitute warranties, are not binding on us, and should not be relied upon by the Purchaser.

This Limited Warranty allocates the risks of Product failure between seller and buyer as authorized by the Uniform Commercial Code and other applicable law. Product pricing reflects the allocation of risk and the limitations of liability contained in this statement.


Some policies/purchase contracts do not allow limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts or do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so any such limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You also have other rights, which may vary from time to time. Seller reserves the right to change its warranty policy at any time for all products distributed after the date of such change in warranty.


What Gets Covered Under the Warranty?

Extended Warranty Agreement covers components installed in the laptop at the time of purchase, including the CPU, Rams, hard disk drive, pointing devices, screen, and other components that included as a standard feature with the Covered Product.

What is Not Covered Under the Warranty: Parts consumed through normal wear and tear of the product are not covered under warranty. Parts intended to be replaced or consumed viz. Batteries and adapters are not covered under extended warranty terms. Similarly wire connections, cradles, software (preloaded or purchased separately). Your refurbished Laptop will contain a used battery. By their nature batteries do not typically have long lives. We only test laptop batteries for minimum backup of 45 minutes; 



The warranty on Battery is 45 Minutes on Handover but not later since it is a consumable item and the backup depends on the usage pattern.

NOTE: New compatible batteries can be purchased and will typically have around 2 hours of operating time on a full charge.

The warranty by Reboot Systems will provide Technical Support at no additional charge to you and guarantees that this item will not be DOA. If by chance you receive your item and there is a problem, we will work diligently to correct the problem. If it is necessary to be returned for repair/replacement, we will repair or replace the item and ship it back to you. One way shipping fee to be borne by the customer. Technical Support is limited to original hardware only. This warranty covers the computer's hardware against functional defects. It does not cover any special needs you might have such as peripheral and/or software installation assistance. It also does not cover software issues, neglect, or unauthorized repair.



The warranty extends only to you, the original Purchaser, and is not transferable. This Warranty is valid only within India. Data recovery is not included under this Warranty, and Reboot Systems is not responsible for data that may be lost or damaged during transit or repair.



To obtain warranty technical service from Reboot Systems, you must first call our Customer Service Department +91-9899877909, Monday-Saturday 10AM-6PM IST. If your problem cannot be resolved by our technician, we might ask you to courier the laptop back for repair or replacement. We will then issue a "Return Merchandise Authorization" number which is required on any return. This number should also be visible on the returned package. All returned products must have an "RMA" number and should be shipped to:

Warranty and Technical Service DO NOT include:

Laptop batteries, repair and/or replacement of Computer Products or Components damaged by accident, abuse, modification or attempted repairs by anyone other than Reboot Systems, unsuitable physical or operating environments, improper maintenance, intentional misuse of products, tampering or removal of Reboot Systems serial numbers or certification stickers, failures caused by a product for which Reboot Systems is not responsible, as well as acts of God including but not limited to floods, lightning, earthquakes, hurricanes, and tornadoes.

Warranty also excludes installation issues with products purchased elsewhere. Warranty does not cover any software issues or unauthorized repairs/upgrades. Swapping internal components in computer systems will void the warranty, unless specifically instructed by our technicians.


This Warranty and remedies set forth above are exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, remedies and conditions, whether oral or written, express or implied. Reboot Systems specifically disclaims any and all implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Reboot Systems' responsibility for malfunctions and defects in hardware and accessories is limited to repair or replacement as set forth above. Reboot Systems is not responsible for direct, special, incidental or consequential damages resulting from any breach of warranty or condition, or under any other legal theory, including but not limited to lost profits, downtime, goodwill, damage to or replacement of equipment and property, any costs of recovering, reprogramming, or reproducing any program or data stored in or used with Reboot Systems products, and any failure to maintain the confidentiality of data stored on the product. Reboot systems specifically does not represent that it will be able to repair any product under this warranty or make a product exchange without risk to or loss of programs or data.
