Here is what "open box" means, what we have in stock right now, and what to check before you buy.
Open box, refurbished, new: what is the difference?
- Open box: the packaging has been opened, usually for an inspection, a demo or a project that was cancelled. The item itself is unused or lightly used and works like new.
- Refurbished: used before, then tested, cleaned and reset. It may have light marks from earlier use.
- New: sealed surplus stock, typically spares a company bought and never deployed.
Each product page says which of these applies, along with its warranty. Warranty varies by item, so check the page before you order.

Before you buy: three checks
- Compatibility. IP phones work only with call systems that support them. Data-centre parts must match your exact model and part number. If you are unsure, send us the model and we will confirm.
- Platform certification. "MS" headsets and speakerphones are certified for Microsoft Teams. "UC" models work across most platforms, including Zoom and Google Meet.
- Quantity. Several items have only one or two units. For more than a few pieces, ask us. We may be able to source more of the same model.
