What's the minimum order quantity?
10 units. Below that, we'd recommend buying directly through our retail store at estore.reboot.co.in, where you still get the same 1-year warranty but without the buffer model and dedicated account manager.
How does the buffer-based replacement actually work?
Every order ships with 2% additional units as standby (so 200 deployed → 4 buffer units). When a device fails, your IT swaps in a buffer unit immediately — the user is back online the same day. The faulty unit is shipped back to us, repaired or replaced under warranty, and returned to replenish your buffer. No on-site engineer visits, no 24–72 hour OEM wait. The buffer specs match or exceed your deployed units.
Where do the laptops come from? Is this grey market?
No — devices come from verified enterprise channels: corporate refresh cycles, lease returns, and managed disposition partners. We've operated as a Government-registered refurbisher since 2015 and we're a Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher. Every unit goes through a 16-point check and 20+ diagnostics before dispatch.
What configurations and brands do you supply?
HP, Dell, Lenovo, and Apple — laptops and desktops. We have 4 standardised tiers (Smart, Ultra, Turbo, Xtreme) covering basic productivity through to design/dev workloads, plus full custom configuration for orders of 100+ units. For very large orders, models within an order may vary slightly, but configuration will be same or higher than what's spec'd.
What about data security on the previous user's device?
Every device is data-wiped before delivery using DoD-grade sanitisation aligned with NIST/ISO standards. A data destruction certificate can be provided with your order on request. Storage drives are also independently verified post-wipe.
Can you do custom OS imaging and asset tagging?
Yes — provide your OS image, license keys (Microsoft, Adobe, etc.), and asset tag schema. We'll image, tag, and label every unit before dispatch. Deployment is MDM-ready (Intune, Jamf, Kandji). Custom imaging adds 2–4 days to lead time depending on order size.
What payment terms do you offer?
Standard for first orders is 50% advance against Purchase Order, 50% on dispatch (against Airway Bill). For repeat buyers we offer 30% Advance + net-30. For 250+ unit orders we negotiate custom terms — including phased payment schedules tied to delivery milestones. GST 18% is extra. We don't currently offer EMI for bulk B2B orders.
What's your DOA (Dead on Arrival) policy?
DOA must be reported within 72 hours of delivery. Verified DOA units are either replaced or credited at our discretion. Full DOA process and exclusions are detailed in the formal warranty document shared after enrolment.
Can I extend the warranty beyond 1 year?
Yes — extended warranty is available for up to 2 or 3 years with the same buffer-based replacement model. Pricing is defined in your commercial agreement and depends on order size, configuration tier, and warranty length. Most enterprise buyers extend to 2 years.
What's not covered by warranty?
Physical damage (drops, impact, cracks), liquid damage, electrical surge, unauthorised repair or modification, software/OS issues, virus/malware, normal battery degradation, and consumables (adapters, cables). On-site engineer visits are not included — replacement is via the buffer model only. Full exclusions are listed in the formal warranty document.
